Support Breast Cancer Awareness & Research With These 7 Must Haves

Bringing attention to the importance of education, prevention and early dedication of breast cancer is a year-long effort. Each October, we focus extra energy on raising awareness and funds for research for a variety of breast cancer causes.

One of the ways people raise money for these important causes is through creating and selling handmade items ranging from jewelry and candles to t-shirts and even nail art. We’ve found some pretty talented makers on Etsy whose creations honor those battling breast cancer while also donating a portion of each sale to help organizations address this important battle.

  • Cancer Awareness Ribbon Earrings & Necklace

    From Next Trend Jewelry, this ribbon earrings/ necklace set is made with .925 sterling silver square wire, this statement is simple and beautiful. For every purchase, Next Trend reports that a portion of the profit will go to St. Luke’s Oncology Research. 

  • Breast Cancer Awareness Nail Art

    How creative is this!  This breast cancer awareness wrap is a great idea for nail techs or do-it-yourselfers.  It is a single 3×3 waterslide focal wrap sheet and can be used on natural nails, acrylic nails, fingers, or toes. According to Kozmik Nails, everyone sold a $0.50 donation* will be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation.

  • Lampwork Eyeglass Chain

    Creator Suzanne Martin crafted this perfect gift for anyone who’s always misplacing their glasses. Made with pink Czech glass beads, crystals, and pink ribbon beads, the eyeglass chain is approximately 29” long.  Even better, they report that $5 of the price will be donated to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.

  • Breast Cancer Awareness Wax Melts

    Carpe Astra Candles Company is offering these unique wax melts.  Each order includes one clamshell of 6 cubes of heart-shaped wax melts made with Pink and White marbled soy wax that is Women Empowerment scented.

      

    According to Carpe Astra Candles Company, for the entire month of October, each order that includes at least one item of this listing, 15% of that order amount will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

    Shannon of Bearly N Stitches offers this beautiful sachet on Etsy as a way to give back for all the kindness shown to her when she worked through her own breast cancer journey. The sachet is filled with 100% dried French lavender buds and each is approximately 4 inches high by 6 inches long and comes with a small jute loop in case you want to hang it.

     

    Shannon shares that she will donate $5.00 from each retail purchase of the breast cancer awareness sachet to LBCA- the Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance.

  • Breast Cancer Awareness Paint by Numbers Kit
