In a rivalry filled with remarkable moments, these 27 images are some of the best from arguably the greatest moment: North Carolina defeating Duke in Saturday night’s Final Four.
The eighth-seeded Tar Heels knocked off the second-seeded Blue Devils, 81-77 in New Orleans, for a spot in the NCAA national championship game against Kansas.
And to add insult to injury for Duke, it was the second time in a few weeks that North Carolina spoiled a signature moment for retiring coach Mike Krzyzewski. UNC beat Duke in Coach K’s final home game at Cameron Indoor, and then played giant killer, ending his career in the NCAA Tournament.
