During the COVID-19 pandemic, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland decided that they wanted to give back to fans but more importantly they wanted to give urban music artists their flowers while they were living. They took the idea that the two super producers came up with a long time ago and brought it to Instagram. That idea is the highly-lauded “Verzuz” battles that take place via Instagram Live between cultural icons, artists, producers, and songwriters.
