Thousands of people gathered in Raeford, N.C. to pay tribute to George Floyd during the public viewing of his casket, and private family memorial service. The services were held at the Cape Fear Conference B Church on June 6, 2020.
Foxy 99’s G-Moniy and DJ Ruckus attended Saturday’s public viewing and memorial service for George Floyd in Raeford. Floyd was born in Fayetteville and had family in the area still, including his sister in Hoke County.
Floyd died in police custody in Minneapolis, in what has now become a major spark moment for the black community across the country. A viewing and memorial service was held at the Cape Fear Conference B Church in Raeford.
