FLASHBACK: AC/DC’s Rock Hall Induction
Brian Johnson celebrates his birthday today (October 5), and with the announcement of the 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees coming down in the near future, it’s appropriate to look back to 2003 when AC/DC was finally inducted into the Rock Hall.
First, they were inducted by Steven Tyler, whose speech is incredibly underrated in the long list of induction speeches in the history of the Rock Hall.
Johnson then spoke on behalf of the band in a short but sweet speech that also served as a doffing of his newsboy hat to the late Bon Scott.
And then, it was time to rock! Just like the entirety of AC/DC’s career, the band’s night of honor was all business, no bullsh*t and a ton of fun. We fans wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

(Sir Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters? C'mon now!) She's also well-versed in etiquette and extraordinarily nice. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
