Fleetwood Mac Announces Massive North American Tour
Lindsey Buckingham drama aside, Fleetwood Mac are pressing on and announced a 50+ date North American tour for 2018-19!
The tour will kick off October 3 in Tulsa, Okla. and wraps April 5 in Philadelphia. There are plenty of breaks within the tour, but there hasn’t been any indication of whether that means more dates will be added…yet.
As previously announced, Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell and Crowded House singer Neil Finn will be joining the band for the tour. In a statement, Mick Fleetwood said, “Fleetwood Mac has always been about an amazing collection of songs that are performed with a unique blend of talents. We jammed with Mike and Neil and the chemistry really worked and let the band realize that this is the right combination to go forward with in Fleetwood Mac style. We know we have something new, yet it’s got the unmistakable Mac sound.”
It’ll be very interesting to see how fans will receive the new lineup when tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 4 at 10 AM local time.
