Deadline Approaching For Fayetteville Pumpkin Carving Contest!
Time is running out to submit your festive jack-o-lantern to win the virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest from The City of Fayetteville! This is a perfect way to show off your creativity while helping to get the community into the spirit of the spooky season.
You can find the entry form here on the official Fayetteville city website. Entrants will have until this Sunday, October 22 to submit their pumpkins. You must be a Fayetteville resident to enter.
Once you carve up your pumpkin to perfection, you must take a clear picture of both you and your pumpkin for submission. Once you fill out the form you can then email your photo, with your name in the subject line, to [email protected].
Every jack-o-lantern will be judged by their technique, creativity, and originality. So don’t hold back on your spooktacular artistic vision! Though do keep in mind that all carving designs also need to be family-friendly. So if you plan to carve a picture-perfect recreation of the head twisting scene from The Exorcist, this isn’t the contest for you.
The winner with the best pumpkin carving contest will receive a shout-out from the City of Fayetteville on social media, along with having their picture displayed at City Hall. It will also be displayed on Hay Street during the Downtown Halloween Trick-or-Treat Event.
You have until the end of this weekend to enter, so get to work on making the most spooktacular pumpkin carving of all time! For more information, click here.
