Fort Bragg July 4th Celebration Back in 2021 With Foreigner Headlining
After a pandemic year that saw everything we know change, things are getting back to normal as the Fort Bragg July 4th Celebration is returning for 2021.
Headlining the event this year will be classic rock act Foreigner, with The Fifth as the opening act for the July 4, 2021 event beginning at 3 p.m. Last year, the installation held only the fireworks, but no additional celebration. That’s changing this year.
Fort Bragg officials said in addition to the music this year, parachute free-fall demonstrations, the popular flag ceremony, fireworks and lots of food and drink will all return.
As always, the Fort Bragg July 4th Celebration is free and open to the public, not just members of the military. You will have to have a gate pass to get on Fort Bragg, however.

- 3 pm Doors Open
- 4:45 pm 82D ALL-AMERICAN ROCK BAND in Concert
- 5:45 pm Parachute Demonstration
- 6:00 pm Flag Ceremony
- 6:45 pm THE FIFTH in Concert
- 8:30 pm FOREIGNER in Concert
- 9:45 pm Fireworks Display
The July 4th Celebration is a huge event and the biggest fireworks extravaganza in the region, and if you’ve never been before, plan to get there really early. You’ll also want to watch out for more information coming about how to access the post if you aren’t military.
