Billy Joel’s ‘We Didn’t Start The Fire’ Inspires New History Podcast
A new podcast has just premiered that will breakdown all of the moments, people and other events mentioned in Billy Joel’s 1989 hit “We Didn’t Start The Fire.”
The podcast is called (obviously) We Didn’t Start The Fire but also goes by the shortened acronym of WDSTF. Per the podcast’s homepage, “Harry Truman, Doris Day, Red China, Johnnie Ray…Can Billy Joel help us disentangle one of the most complex yet relatively unexplored periods in modern history? Investigating the fraught nature of American, Korean and Cuba-Soviet Union relations from 1949 – 1991, We Didn’t Start The Fire is a history podcast with a lyrical twist.”
