Cumberland County Fair Cancels All Indoor Activities For 2020
With early September approaching fast, the Cumberland County Fair has decided to cancel all of the indoor components of the fair, including exhibits, livestock shows and vendors.
The announcement came Monday from Fair Manager Tony Williams with the Crown Complex. The Fair was to be held September 4-13 at the Crown Complex.
“Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, the 2020 Cumberland County Fair will not be holding any indoor activities to include fair entries, exhibits, vendors, educational booths, or in person livestock shows this year,” Williams said. “All 4-H Circuit Livestock shows will be held virtually.”
A decision has not been made on the outdoor carnival portion yet, and Williams said to expect that to come in early August.
For any youth wanting to participate in the virtual livestock shows, they should contact Liz Lahti at [email protected].
