Brandy Teases New Single ‘Baby Mama’ Featuring Chance The Rapper
Brandy is on the brink of returning. The R&B veteran will be releasing her new forthcoming single “Baby Mama” featuring Chance the Rapper on Friday (Apr. 30).
“Baby Mama” is produced by Hit-Boy, and was originally due to be released last month. However, the single is now slated to arrive just on time for Mother’s Day.
On Wednesday (Apr. 28), Brandy took to social media to tease the new single along with a snippet from the music video.

“Baby Mama” serves as a celebratory anthem for mothers. “It has such a message,” Brandy, 41, told the “Laura Coates Show.”
“It’s celebrating mothers out there who are out there doing their best for their children and striving in their independence, in their strength, in their power. I just wanted to come out with a powerful message like that.”
“Baby Mama” is the follow up to Brandy’s latest single “Freedom Rings” that the actress and singer dropped last September.
“I finally got the guts to put a single out,” Brandy said. “It’s been a long time coming, but music is my passion, it’s my love, and I have so much left in me so I wanted to come back to this music world and just give it all I’ve got.”
The songstress is now preparing to drop her seventh album, which would be the follow up to 2012’s Two Eleven. “I’ve dedicated the last couple of years of my life to my new music, my new project,” she said.
“It’s taken me a while, but I’m so happy about the focus and the work ethic that I’ve put into this project. I’m really proud of it and I finally feel ready to present it to the world.”
