Operation Kids Care – Share Your Cards or Videos to Help Others
I’m sure we’re all feeling like we could help out more right now. Spending so much time in isolation makes it difficult to feel like we can chip in and help others. But thanks to a great idea from a sister station of ours, the Bob Squad has come up with a cool way for you and your children to help out from right there at home.
Today we’re thrilled to be launching Operation Kids Care! Our medical workers are doing so much right now, and we want to be able to cheer them up. And with our senior citizens being so much more at risk right now, most aren’t getting visitors like they usually would. Especially those in nursing homes. So we’re gonna all chip in together to help spread some kindness.
Here’s all you have to do:
- Have your kids make a card for a medical worker, or someone in a nursing home, and send it to us. (You can do both!)
- Or, you can film a video with some smiles and laughs; maybe a joke or a sweet story. Whatever you’d like that you think would help cheer up some medical workers or seniors. Then just submit the video right down at the bottom of this page.
It’s that simple! We’ll take your cards and videos and get them out to our medical workers and senior citizens to let them know they are loved and cared for.
