Aerosmith MusiCares Gala Recap: Setlist, Photos & Video
Aerosmith went into the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year gala on a wave of controversy due to drummer Joey Kramer‘s lawsuit against the band, but the night went off seemingly without a hitch.
Multiple outlets including Billboard, USA Today and Yahoo were on hand for the event which saw multiple acts perform covers of some of Aerosmith’s biggest songs. Many of those outlets mentioned that it was the covers sung by women that stood out the most due to their ability to tackle some of Steven Tyler‘s broad vocal style. A full setlist from the event is listed below.
When it came time for Aerosmith to accept their MusiCares honor, they did so with Kramer, and understandably, it was slightly awkward. Tyler and Kramer both spoke during the band’s acceptance speech, which was captured by Yahoo Music’s Editor-in-Chief Lyndsey Parker.
