Foo Fighters Share Funny Photo from New Recording Sessions
Foo Fighters are starting the New Year by recording new music, and they’re not afraid to step out of the traditional confines of a recording studio.
The band shared the photo below to Instagram along with the caption, “Come on in, the water’s fine…”
The Foos have spent a majority of 2019 touring and releasing EPs of various archived music, from covers and demos to live cuts and songs originally featured on soundtrack albums. The Foo Fighters’ self-titled debut will turn 25 in 2020, and drummer Taylor Hawkins said in an interview with Music-News.com of a potential 25th anniversary, “Well, it’s very possible. There’s a lot of talk. And I think Dave is already mapping out what he wants the next record to be, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s something coming down the pipe…I can’t 100 percent spell it out for you for sure, because I’m always the last to know and I don’t want to give it away. But I would imagine there will be something made of the 25th year of the Foo Fighters, for sure. You know us, we never stop.”
