Ozzy Osbourne Says He’s Completed A New Solo Album
Ozzy Osbourne is still recuperating from his various health issues, but that doesn’t mean he’s still not putting in the work in the recording studio.
In an interview with U.K.’s The Sun, Ozzy said, “I’ve made a new album, and it’s helped get me back on track. I was just lying in my own self-pity for months. It’s the greatest album I’ve done.”
A big reason why Ozzy was able to get back to work was thanks to his recent collaboration with Post Malone, however, unlike what wife, Sharon, said on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Prince of Darkness wasn’t previously familiar with the rapper.
“I’d never even heard of this kid,” said Ozzy. “He wanted me to sing on his song Take What You Want, so I did and then one thing led to another. I started recording a new album with Post Malone’s producer Andrew Watt. It’s only nine tracks but it was a catalyst to get me to where I am today.”
The last studio album Ozzy released was 2010’s Scream. So far, there’s no timeline for release.
