“My new album, Let Love out now. Don’t forget to get your exclusive copy of Let Love at Target this weekend!” Common tweeted.
The new release is inspired by the rapper’s recent memoir Let Love Have the Last Word and features Jill Scott, Swizz Beatz, Dwele, Leikeli47, Karriem Riggins, Samora Pinderhughes and A-Trak.
“The book was the seed that started me in this conversation. I believe that the energy of love and the act of love, the practice of it, is the thing that we can use as individuals and as people to overcome the heaviness of the times. When I say ‘Let Love,’ I’m saying put love into practice. Allow love to be the law that we abide by,” Common said of the album.
