Low pressure will strengthen as it moves northward along the
Carolina coast today, then up the East Coast tonight and Friday.

With the ground already saturated and area rivers and streams
already in flood, another round of widespread rainfall of 1 to 2
inches will likely result in additional flooding across central NC
into this evening.
