The Southeast Area Transit System is operating and can transport people safely to shelters. The designated shelters for Robeson County are located at: Fairmont Middle, Lumberton High, Purnell Swett, and St. Pauls High.
While Florence has been downgraded to a Tropical Depression, the lingering downpours have increased the likelihood we will see widespread flooding as local waterways continue to rise.
