Woman Found Dead In Middle Of Road In Fayetteville

A person driving along Murchison Road came across a woman’s body on Tuesday evening.
According to the Fayetteville Observer, the driver phoned authorities shortly before 11 pm.
The driver told dispatch he saw a woman lying in the middle of the roadway on Murchison Road, in close proximity to Brenday Drive.
At this time, it is not known if the woman’s body was dumped on the road or if perhaps she was hit by a car.
Her identity has not been revealed at this time.
The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how the woman died.
The investigation into her death is ongoing.
