More Than A Dozen Players At North Carolina College Have Just Been Suspended
Thirteen University Of North Carolina football players to be suspended.
As you may know, the University Of North Carolina’s athletic program is sponsored by none other than alumni, Michael Jordan’s clothing brand, Jordan Brand.
Every year, the football team is issued exclusive sneakers that are not available to the public, and it is against NCAA regulations to sell these items for profit.

UNC self-reported a secondary violation to the NCAA after finding out that thirteen different players that received the sneakers, decided to sell them.
Unfortunately for the Tar Heels, one of those players to be suspended is potential starting quarterback, Chazz Surratt.
The NCAA has approved the players to be suspended in a staggered manner to make up for the loss of players that play the same position. So now, the Tar Heels will be without at least eight players for the games against Cal, ECU, UCF & Pitt.
The news comes at a critical time with training camps just getting underway, so now the Tar Heels are under some major pressure to perform at a high level without some key pieces.
