Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good, and if you’re looking for a new baby name, we found the luckiest names possible.
Gamblizard.com put together a definitive list of the luckiest names, so if your name falls on one of these lists, it might be time to go buy that lottery ticket.
The list was generated by pulling available winners of various lotteries and online casinos, and ranking them by the average number of times each name has won in the last 10 years. Similar names (and spellings) were grouped together (so Bill and William are all under William, for example).
That’s all good news for Susan out there, as Susans won about $6.3 billion in the last decade. Mavis was the highest individual girls’ name, with a $758.7 million Powerball win.
For the boys, Williams got about $5.1 billion in winnings, with Manuel being the highest single winning name, at $768.4 million (for Powerball of course).
Sure, there’s probably a lot of correlation to these being a lot of the most popular names, period, but it’s fun to take a look regardless.
So what are all the luckiest names? Let’s take a closer look, along with some of our favorites with that name.
