Cumberland County Schools will now use the "Here Comes the Bus" mobile app and website to let parents track busses.

If you’re tired of wondering where your child’s bus is, Cumberland County Schools has found a solution and will be using a new app to track busses this year.

The school district based in Fayetteville will now use the Here Comes the Bus mobile app and website for tracking, according to a release.

“To maintain a safe and inviting environment, CCS is dedicated to providing innovative and secure resources to keep families informed,” CCS said. “Here Comes the Bus allows registered families to view the real-time location of their child’s school bus via their smartphone or computer.”

The new system will allow parents to help get their children to the bus stop in a safe, timely manner, and will allow them to see delays in real time.

“With the app, families can send bus riders to the bus stop at the best time, in order to protect them from inclement weather and other roadside dangers.”

The company behind the app says it’s an industry leader:

“Award-winning. Industry-leading. Parent-Approved. The mobile app that forged an industry and is trusted by more schools and families than any other school bus tracking solution, Here Comes The Bus delivers a powerful, intuitive connection between students and their daily bus experience. Real-time tracking and alerts that connect and protect.”

There are a number of resources available regarding the app. We highlight a few of those below for you.
