After nearly 30 years in Fayetteville, The Coffee Scene announced Wednesday that it has immediately closed all three of its locations.
In an Instagram post, the shop said "We know our time in Fayetteville has been brief! The Coffee Scene will be closing its doors permanently at all 3 locations in Fayetteville effective today, April 8th. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for your loyal patronage."
The Coffee Scene opened its first location in 1996 in Westwood Shopping Center. The company was sold to new owners Stacey and Chad Chapman in February of 2025, according to a Fayetteville Business Journal story.
The closing impacts the main location on Morganton Road next to Carrabba's, the location in The Prince Charles building in Downtown Fayetteville, and a location in Womack Army Medical Center on Fort Bragg.
Phone calls to each location, and to other contacts were not returned Wednesday.
