QDOBA Mexican Eats launched its inaugural Fayetteville spot on Nov. 25 at 2080 Skibo Road. The fast-casual chain intends to debut 13 sites per year across North Carolina and South Carolina over the next four to five years.

Thrive Restaurant Group operates this new site. President and CEO Jon Rolph steers the company. He revealed intentions for three total Fayetteville spots during the ceremony. The first one is in the former USAA building in front of Home Depot.

"We love Fayetteville, we've been a part of this community for a few years through our Applebee's, and our plan is to have three QDOBAs here also. We're building one over on Ramsey," Rolph said, according to BizFayetteville.com. "But this team is setting our reputation for QDOBA in this market, and we're thrilled to be a part of it, to grow, to continue to invest in Fayetteville. We plan to open about 13 of these a year in North and South Carolina over the next four or five years, but it all started right here."

John Cywinski serves as CEO. He said in a press release that the company welcomes Thrive Restaurant Group. The brand wants to bring flavor to people's lives throughout the Sandhills region. Freshly prepared food has become their standard, with signature dishes and customizable meals available.

Burritos, bowls, free hand-smashed guacamole, and three-cheese queso fill the menu. Guests pick signature dishes or build their own burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and salads.

Doors open seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Online ordering works at QDOBA.com and through the mobile app, where customers earn rewards for future visits.
