Jason Bonham is touring across America this summer to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Led Zeppelin's album Physical Graffiti.
The tour dubbed "An Evening With JBLZE Celebrating 50 Years Of Physical Graffiti," will start on May 3 in Wallingford, Connecticut, and run through major cities before concluding in Los Angeles on May 31. Bonham will perform the entire album alongside crowd favorites and deep cuts.
Each show will bring the 1975 album to life with classic hits like "In My Time of Dying," "Trampled Underfoot," and the iconic "Kashmir." Between performances, Jason will share personal stories about his late father, drummer John Bonham.
Jason's ties to Zeppelin hit a high point at London's O2 Arena in 2007 when he played drums for Led Zeppelin during a tribute show for Atlantic Record's founder Ahmet Ertegun. While Zeppelin's band members, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were eager to do more shows, their hopes were shuttered when Robert Plant declined.
"Robert had said to the rest of the guys when they had their annual meeting…I don't really want to continue. I thought it was great and I really enjoyed it, but I want to leave it there," Jason Bonham told Dean Goodman during an interview.
