We have been in contact with those out West and as you have observed, there is so much devastation in the region. We have teamed up to support DRUSA, Disaster Relief USA. DRUSA has teams on the ground in the Western area of North Carolina. The biggest need right now is funds. The money is critical in order to continue with their efforts of feeding and taking supplies to those in need. On Thursday October 10, 2024, we will be set up at Northwood Temple on Ramsey street selling bbq plates with all proceeds going to Hurricane Relief in Western North Carolina. We will also have a, enclosed trailer on site accepting your donations of water, canned goods, baby supplies and pet supplies. For those that lost everything, any generous donation will help at this point. Please take the time to come by and have lunch or dinner and drop off some supplies or just make a donation. This community effort is a great way to make a positive impact. We are hoping to have a huge turnout for those who have lost everything."
