Duff McKagan: How He and His Wife Keep the Spark in Their Marriage

Duff McKagan and his wife, Susan Holmes McKagan, have been married for 22 years. That's a long time for just regular folks, but for a rockstar marriage, that's incredible!

So, how does the couple maintain that spark? Regular date nights, even when Duff is on the road.

The couple recently spoke to People about their marriage and the outlet noted, "When Duff is at home, the couple loves going on date nights together. Since they live by a lake, they'll sometimes boat to dinner or watch a good classic movie at home. And when he's on the road...Susan makes sure to not go two weeks without seeing her husband."

What does a date night on tour look like for the McKagan's? Susan said, "I make sure we go to the coolest, maybe not-so-obvious, crazy things to see and do. We went to the torture museum in Amsterdam. Like who goes to that or knows about that? That was kind of a kinky, fun date."

Duff would playfully add, "Nothing wrong with that either." (He is a rockstar, after all.)
