Kurt Cobain Sweater Worn on ‘MTV Unplugged’ Up For Auction
Kurt Cobain is one of many rock stars highlighted in the upcoming “Icons & Idols” event from Julien’s Auctions.
Among the Cobain items up for auction is the olive-green mohair cardigan he worn during Nirvana’s now-legendary appearance on MTV Unplugged. Julien’s estimate that the cardigan will fetch between $200,000-$300,000, but many popular rock artifacts that have gone to auction lately have sold for well over their estimated price.
Fans will see what the Cobain sweater goes for when the auction takes place October 25 and 26 at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York. Full auction details can be found at JuliensAuctions.com.
