Green Day Partner with NHL, New Song to Premiere on ‘Wednesday Night Hockey’

Green Day will be taking center ice with the NHL in a new partnership.

Per Billboard, the band is partnering with the NHL for the next two years that will see Green Day part of various facets of programming.

The first instance of this will take place during the October 9 telecast of NBCSN’s Wednesday Night Hockey where Green Day will premiere the new track “Ready, Fire, Aim” from their upcoming album Father of All… The track will be used as the show’s theme for the 2019-2020 NHL season. A preview can be viewed below.

This new partnership will also see Green Day give a headlining performance during this season’s NHL All-Star Game which will take place January 25, 2020 in St. Louis.

Green Day’s new album is set for release on February 7, 2020. Father of All…is available for pre-order through multiple outlets here.
