DORIAN UPDATE: Heavy Wind and Rain Still in Forecast for Fayetteville, Region
The National Weather Service has Fayetteville right on the edge of winds anywhere from 45 to 60 mph, along with rain of 4-8 inches over the next 72 hours. Much of that would be within the next 24 hours as we start to see the brunt of Hurricane Dorian. Check back as we get updates across the morning.
The expected max winds and total rainfall for #NCwx from #HurricaneDorian haven't changed significantly. For central NC: we're still expecting 45-60 mph gusts & 4-8" of rain along & east of I-95.
