‘Yesterday’ Home Video Details Announced
Didn’t have a chance to check out the Beatles-themed film Yesterday? Then there’s some good news regarding its home video release.
The film, which grossed over $125 million worldwide, will be released digitally on September 10 and on Blu-ray/DVD on September 24. Included with the home video release is an alternate ending to the film, as well as deleted scenes.

The film help give the Beatles catalog an extra revenue boost as well. Shortly after the release of Yesterday, five Beatles songs charted anew on Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs Chart including “Here Comes The Sun,” “Let It Be,” “Yesterday,” “Hey Jude” and “Come Together.” The weeks following the release of Yesterday also saw a 26% increase of album units sold/streamed. Catalog streams were up 17%, while digital downloads were up 40%.
