Meg Ryan’s Engagement to John Mellencamp Not Heading Down the Aisle Anytime Soon
Meg Ryan announced her engagement to John Mellencamp back in November 2018, but if you think the actress and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer are saying “I do” anytime soon, think again.
In a reflective piece for In Style, Ryan details where she is in her life by saying, “What I’m ambitious for in the 12 hours a day that I’m awake is my kids’ happiness. I just am. I’m either figuring out how to provide for them, figuring out how to say it right, figuring out all those mom things. I want them to be happy. And today I’m happy too. Yes, I’m going to get married at some point. But for now, this engagement thing is a state of grace.”
Ryan and Mellencamp were together for four years from 2010-2014 when they split, but they got back together in the spring of 2017. Their relationship has always been very private, so even if they get married, don’t be shocked if it’s done by surprise.
Also, Meg Ryan is only awake for 12 hours a day? She gets 12 hours of sleep?! A NIGHT?! That could explain why she’s aged so well; it’s because she’s really well-rested!
