Elton John, Taron Egerton Perform ‘Your Song’ During U.K. Show
Elton John performed before a massive crowd in Hove, England over the weekend as part of his farewell tour, and he did something that he hasn’t done so far this entire tour: Bring out a special guest. The guest? Taron Egerton, who plays Sir Elton in Rocketman.
This marks the third time Egerton has publicly performed with John. The previous two times happened during the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party in February where they dueted on “Tiny Dancer” and at the Cannes Film Festival last month where they appropriately performed “Rocket Man” after the world premiere of Rocketman.
John and everyone involved with Rocketman has a lot to sing and celebrate about. According to Box Office Mojo, the film has now grossed over $100 million worldwide after the returns from this past weekend, which so far is providing a nice profit after the film’s production budget of $40 million.
