POLL: Do You Want to See a Sequel to ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’?
Bohemian Rhapsody was a massive success, but could a sequel be in the works?
In an interview with Page Six, Queen music video director Rudi Dolezal said, “I’m sure he [Queen manager Jim Beach] plans a sequel that starts with Live Aid.” Dolezal also said a sequel is “being heavily discussed in the Queen family.”
Whether or not this is true has yet to be confirmed by Queen themselves, but do fans want to see a sequel to Bohemian Rhapsody?
Do fans want to see Freddie Mercury struggle and die from AIDS? Sure, there’s more story to tell after Live Aid, but it appears the ABC documentary The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story airing April 29 will do most of that. Let us not forget that a new film will only bring up all of the controversy surrounding fired director Bryan Singer all over again.
