ICYMI: Rolling Stones Won Their Third GRAMMY Ever!
The GRAMMYs is a funny awards show. Artists you’d think wouldn’t have ton of GRAMMYs do and vice versa. A great example of this? The Rolling Stones.
That tiny London band that’s made a decent name for themselves over the years nabbed their third GRAMMY award ever last night for Best Traditional Blues Album for their covers album Blue & Lonesome.
That’s right…ONLY THEIR THIRD!
Not counting their Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY from 1986, the Stones’ previous wins came in 1994 for Best Rock Album for Voodoo Lounge and 1995 for Best Short Form Music Video for “Love Is Strong.”
Like we said, the GRAMMYs sure are funny, aren’t they? Regardless, congrats to the Stones, and enjoy the videos below from Blue & Lonesome.
