Skynyrd Announces Farewell Tour
Next up on the “farewell” track: Lynyrd Skynyrd.
The legendary southern rock band announced they’ll be embarking on the “Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour” this May.
In a statement, Gary Rossington said, “It’s hard to imagine, after all these years, the band that Ronnie Van Zant, Allen Collins and myself started back in Jacksonville, would resonate for this long and to so many generations of fans. I’m certain they are looking down from above, amazed that the music has touched so many.”
Skynyrd will be supported by multiple special guests on their farewell tour including Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels Band, Bad Company, Marshall Tucker Band, .38 Special, Blackberry Smoke and Blackfoot. Exact dates for these special guests will be announced at a later date.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 2. Complete ticket details can be found at LynyrdSkynyrd.com.
